L-3 Technologies Inc. KEO, a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies Inc., Northampton, Massachusetts, has been awarded a cost-plus fixed price contract with a potential value of $7,952,871 with options. These efforts are used to obtain multi-function mast (OE-538B) group of antennas and upgrade kits as a second source. The navy requires the delivery of the first antenna within 18 months of the award of the contract and the second antenna within 24 months of the award of the contract. This contract contains options for engineering services and preliminary items required to support facilities, repairs and maintenance and, if exercised, would increase the cumulative value of this contract to $7,952,871. If all options are used, work could continue until August 2024. The work will be carried out in Northampton, Massachusetts, with a completion date expected in August 2024. Other purchasing methods (Marine) for fiscal 2020, amounting to $6,452,871, are required at the time of award. Contract credits do not mature at the end of the current fiscal year. This mandate is considered to be the only source under the authority of 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c) (3) – “Industrial Mobilization; Engineering, Development or Research Capability or Expert Services. These contracts provide for the development and operation of systems as a single force in all areas (air, land, sea, space, cyber and electromagnetic spectrum) in a family of open systems architecture that allows capabilities on multiple integrated platforms.

The mission is to update the AOC and The Alternative AOC (AAOC), which includes the purchase of hardware and software, engineering services, installation, integration and testing of AOC and AAOC components, end-user training, spare parts and helpdesk assistance outside the continental United States. and Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, and is expected to be completed on 31 March 2025. This price is the result of a targeted single-source acquisition.
